The Bobrick model B-6806.99×12 is a grab bar constructed of stainless steel with a peened grip. The bar is 42″ (1065 mm) long and 1-1/2″ in diameter. It passes through the flange and is heliarc welded to form a single structural unit. The cover then snaps over the mounting flange to conceal screws. This unit provides 1-1/2″ (38mm) clearance from the wall and, when properly installed can support loads in excess of 900 lbs (408kg). This unit meets ADA Accessibility Guidelines in the U.S.
